History of Manollo Foundation
Manollo Foundation began as an idea nurtured in the heart of John Benedicto Manollo, who is now the Executive Director of the Foundation. From a young age, John grew up witnessing compassion and generosity from his Father, Benedicto John Manollo, a man devoted to supporting people with special needs in the community. This spirit of humanity deeply inspired John, shaping him into a caring, dedicated, and community-focused individual driven to bring positive change to those around him.
Motivated by this inner passion, John officially embarked on the journey to establish an institution aimed at creating lasting impact within society. In 2018, the idea of Manollo Foundation began to take shape, guided by a vision to provide education, protection, and equal opportunities for children, youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
A major milestone was achieved in August 2025, when John met Susan Hirt from Germany, this meeting sparked the initiative to formally register the organization. Together with five colleagues who shared his vision, John began the registration process. The official registration of Manollo Foundation marked the beginning of transforming a dream of community service into a recognized and sustainable institution.
Today, Manollo Foundation stands as a beacon of hope, driven by a strong mission to create positive and sustainable change in society. The organization works tirelessly to ensure that children, youth, women, and persons with disabilities have access to education, protection, and equal opportunities to achieve their dreams.
