During the activity, the foundation reached a total of 26 pupils, aiming to increase their understanding of how to identify, report, and protect themselves from gender-based violence.
Speaking during the event, the Executive Director of Manollo Foundation said that educating children is an important step in reducing violence in the community and that the foundation will continue working with various stakeholders to address this challenge.
The foundation also announced its plan to establish Gender-Based Violence Prevention Clubs in schools across the Mtwara Region. These clubs will help students gain long-term awareness and provide a safe space to discuss issues related to their safety.
Manollo Foundation stated that it will continue offering education, awareness campaigns, and support to children and the wider community to help create a safer environment for every child in Tanzania.
